Welcome to Rockland! Welcome to Rockland!
Announcements
Due to Blizzard Elsa and the lingering effects and cleanup, Harters has announced that all garbage collection in our area will be one day removed. Rockland garbage will run on Tuesday, and all other areas will be picked up one day late with Friday garbage being collected on Saturday.
Please avoid any travel until the Blizzard conditions lift. East west roads will be prone to drifting and will be difficult to keep clear. Travel is not advised.
The Monday, March 16th Town Board meeting is cancelled due to a lack of agenda items and potential inclement weather.
Weight Limits are in effect as of March 5, 2026 until further notice.
In-person absentee voting will begin on Tuesday, March 24 at the Rockland Town Hall during Clerk's hours (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-2:30pm).
Welcome to Rockland
Primarily agricultural and residential, the Town maintains a quiet and rural feel. Of its 14,087 acres, 15.8% is comprised of natural features including the Fox River and the Niagara Escarpment, both of which run through our Town from South to North and offer beautiful home sites and relaxing recreational activities via the Fox River Trail. Due to its rural, natural, and quiet setting in addition to its easy access to jobs, schools, recreation, and shopping, the Town of Rockland has grown from a population of 777 in 1960 to 1,783 in 2025.
